The Nilamm Warp Dress features two unique forms of tie-dye textile arts in plant-based form. One on yarns and other on fabric. The double Ikat in indigo embellished with Sungudi tie-dye .It exhibits a chic style with oversixes, wrap-tie design with shades of evening sky and tints of leaves from natural plant dyes. The artistic blend of ikat in rainfed cotton and Sungudi on the fabric makes it a stand-out option. A perfect fusion of style and finesse - it’s a limited edition singular piece designed to celebrate every body type.
Materials: 95% Khadi, 5% Rainfed Cotton, 100% Plant ColoursDesigned and Manufactured by women-led team in our own atelier.
2. The art form of ikat is one of the most intricate and tedious version of tie-dye. The design of the fabric is tie-dyed on bunch of yarns. More the colours, more the dyeing cycles. Yarns are then loaded on looms. The pattern is visible even before the weave completes.
